Egremont man given Criminal Behaviour Order

The Copeland Neighbourhood Policing team have secured a further Criminal Behaviour Order against an Egremont man. The order was secured on 8 April against Mark Timney, 55, of Main Street, Egremont for two years, the conditions are Timney must not: Enter any of the shops on the Whitehaven Shop Watch Scheme or any shops displaying the Whitehaven Shop Watch Scheme logo Enter the Co-op on Main Street, Egremont Enter Greggs, on Main Street, Egremont Enter Boots Pharmacy, on Main Street, Egremont The Criminal Behaviour Order follows Timney appearing at court where he pleaded guilty of breaching a criminal behaviour order and theft from a on 20 February at B&M in Whitehaven. He was also given a rehabilitation activity and a financial penalty. Anyone who witnesses the terms of such a court order being broken to contact the police immediately. The punishment for breaking the terms of a CBO can be up to five years in prison
